Terms of Use

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Axelon Tech (“we”, “us”), which runs FlowProofs. When you create an account you tick a box to accept them; using FlowProofs also means you accept them. They include the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and, for business customers, the Data Processing Addendum. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Who can use FlowProofs

• You must be 18 or older. FlowProofs is for adults. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.
• FlowProofs is made for business and professional use: analysing numbers for work, a business or your own projects.
• If you accept these terms for a company or other organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it, and “you” includes that organisation.
• You may not use FlowProofs if the law of your country forbids it, or if we have closed your account before for breaking these terms.

3. What FlowProofs provides

FlowProofs is a web application that lets you:

• upload spreadsheet data (CSV, Excel) and connect data sources
• build canvases of live numbers, formulas and explanations
• see how much each input contributed to a change, and get optional AI-written summaries
• share read-only views of your work with anyone you choose

Plan limits are on the pricing page. “Unlimited” means there is no fixed number; the fair-use limits in the Acceptable Use Policy still apply.

4. Your account

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account. Accounts cannot be transferred.
• Tell us at once at security@flowproofs.com if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Your content

• You own your data and your canvases: the files you upload, what you build and everything in it. We claim no ownership.
• You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to run FlowProofs for you (including sending it to the providers on the sub-processors page) and to keep it secure. The licence ends when you delete the content, apart from copies in backups until they expire.
• We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
• You promise you have the right to upload it. That includes personal data about other people (you need a lawful basis, and must have told them what the law requires) and confidential company data (you must be allowed to put it in a third-party tool).
• You can download everything as a ZIP, or delete it, from Settings → Data and privacy at any time.

6. Acceptable use

Use FlowProofs lawfully and fairly. The Acceptable Use Policy lists what is not allowed: for example illegal or infringing content, malware, other people’s personal data without a lawful basis, scraping or overloading the service, reverse engineering it, or using its output to build a competing AI model.

7. AI features and not professional advice

You can turn AI features off in Settings. AI text you generate is yours to use, as far as the law allows, but do not present it as checked fact unless you have checked it, and do not remove its label when you share it.

8. The service is provided as is

FlowProofs is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it accurate, secure and running, but to the extent the law allows we give no warranty, express or implied, that it or its output will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that it will meet your needs. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, savings, data or goodwill, or for decisions made using numbers, calculations or AI text shown in FlowProofs, even if we were told they were possible;
• our total liability for all claims about FlowProofs is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us for FlowProofs in the 12 months before the claim and (b) INR 5,000 (or USD 100 if you are outside India).

These limits do not apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, such as for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or under mandatory consumer law.

10. Your responsibility to us (indemnity)

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or shared, or because you used FlowProofs in breach of these terms or the law, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you help with it. This does not apply where the claim was caused by us.

11. Copyright complaints

If you believe something in FlowProofs infringes your copyright, send a notice to copyright@flowproofs.com. The copyright page explains what to include, how we respond (we acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days), the counter-notice process, and our policy of closing the accounts of repeat infringers.

12. Services you connect

When you connect Google, Microsoft, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Stripe, Notion, a database or another service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for those services, their outages, or changes they make (for example to their APIs) that stop a connection working. We will tell you if a connection stops working for good.

13. Fees, renewal and cancellation

• FlowProofs is in early access. Billing is not switched on and nothing is charged today. Early access price: not yet published.
• When paid plans start, the price, the billing period, whether tax is included or added, and when the first charge happens will be shown before you pay, with no extra fees added at the end.
• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. We will say so next to the button, and you will tick a box to agree to it before you pay. We will email a confirmation, and for annual plans a reminder before each renewal.
• Cancel any time in Settings → Account and usage, in no more steps than it took to sign up, without having to call or chat. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change affects you.
• Refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

14. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using FlowProofs at any time, and delete your account in Settings → Data and privacy.
• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect other users, the service or the law. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it.
• After termination you can export your data for 30 days (write to us if you cannot sign in), unless the law prevents it or the account was closed for serious abuse such as malware or illegal content. After that, the data is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.
• An account you delete yourself is locked at once and permanently deleted after 7 days, unless you change your mind (or choose to delete at once). Download your data first if you want to keep it.
• If we ever stop offering FlowProofs, we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your data, and refund any unused prepaid period.

15. Changes to the service and to these terms

• We may change or remove features. If a change takes away something you rely on in a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
• For material changes to these terms we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, and show a notice in the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then. Using FlowProofs after the change means you accept it.
• Small changes (wording, contact details) only update the date at the top.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. Please contact us first: most problems are solved by an email.

If you are a consumer living in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer law, you keep the protection of that law and can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have that cannot be waived.

17. General

• If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• You may not transfer these terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer them to a buyer of FlowProofs, and will tell you.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
