Terms of Service

1. The service

FlowProofs is a web-based platform for building visual explanation models that connect business variables, formulas, assumptions and evidence. It includes canvas editing, scenario modelling, data upload, AI-powered explanations, meeting mode, client views and a template gallery.

The service is provided as is and we improve it continuously. Features may be added, changed or removed. We will tell you about material changes.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You must be at least 16, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if that is higher
• You are responsible for everything done under your account
• You must not share your login credentials
• One account per person. Shared accounts are not permitted on the free plan.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms

3. Your content and data

You own your content. Every explanation model, canvas, uploaded file and piece of text you create in FlowProofs belongs to you.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, display and transmit your content, solely so that we can provide and improve the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We claim no intellectual property in your content. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not sell it.

You are responsible for having the right to upload and use whatever you put into FlowProofs, including datasets and third-party information.

4. AI features

FlowProofs includes AI-powered features such as natural-language explanations, formula suggestions and meeting summaries, built on Anthropic’s Claude API.

• AI-generated content is provided for information only
• Every AI-generated output carries an AI badge
• You should verify AI output before acting on it
• We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated content
• AI features may be subject to usage limits depending on your plan
• AI output can be wrong. We do not guarantee its accuracy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use FlowProofs for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files, viruses or code
• Attempt to reach other users’ data or accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the service
• Exceed rate limits or abuse API endpoints
• Scrape, crawl or data-mine the service with automated tools
• Use FlowProofs to build a directly competing product
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Upload datasets containing third parties’ personal data without a lawful basis
• Present AI-generated content as verified fact without the AI label
• Circumvent security measures or access controls

6. Free and paid plans

FlowProofs is in early access and every feature is free. There are no paid plans yet: nothing is purchasable, no payment is taken and no payment details are collected.

When paid plans become available:

• Pricing will be shown on the pricing page
• Plans will be billed monthly or annually as you choose at signup
• Prices may change on at least 30 days’ notice
• You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period
• Refunds follow the consumer protection law of your jurisdiction. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital services under the Consumer Rights Directive.
• If you dispute a charge, please contact support@flowproofs.com before starting a chargeback

7. Sharing and client views

• You may share canvases by public link or client-view link
• Anyone holding the link can view the canvas within the permissions you set on it
• You are responsible for not putting confidential or sensitive information behind a public link
• Client-view permissions are configured by you
• We are not responsible for what viewers do with what they see
• A client view can be revoked at any time from the canvas settings

8. Data uploads

• You are responsible for having the right to upload any dataset
• Do not upload datasets containing third parties’ personal data without a lawful basis such as consent or legitimate interest
• In the current version, uploaded datasets are held in your browser’s local storage and are never sent to our servers
• File size and format limits apply
• We do not read, analyse or use your uploaded data for anything other than providing the service to you

9. Intellectual property

• FlowProofs, its code, design, features and branding are owned by Axelon Tech
• The FlowProofs name and logo are trademarks of Axelon Tech
• Pre-built templates remain our intellectual property in their original form. The models you build from them are yours.
• Open-source components remain subject to their own licences

10. Disclaimers and limitations

To the maximum extent applicable law permits:

• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure
• We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or USD 100
• We are not liable for losses arising from decisions made on FlowProofs output, including AI-generated content

Nothing here excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For consumers in the EU and EEA, these limitations do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

11. Indemnification

To the extent applicable law permits, you agree to indemnify Axelon Tech against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your content, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of a third party’s rights. This clause does not apply where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction prohibits it.

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Your data is deleted immediately and irreversibly.
• We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, with notice where that is practicable
• On termination your licence to use the service ends immediately
• The sections that should outlive the agreement — liability, intellectual property, indemnification and dispute resolution — survive it

13. Dispute resolution

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Informal resolution first

Before bringing any formal claim, please contact legal@flowproofs.com so we can try to resolve it. We will attempt to do so within 30 days.

Arbitration

If that fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Mumbai, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Exceptions

Nothing here prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property rights.

EU consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. General provisions

• Entire agreement: these terms, with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Axelon Tech about FlowProofs
• Severability: if a provision is unenforceable, the rest still stands
• No waiver: not enforcing a provision once does not waive it later
• Assignment: we may assign our rights and obligations; you may not without our written consent
• Changes: we may update these terms. Material changes are emailed at least 30 days in advance, and continued use afterwards means acceptance.
